Leaders, volunteers, Kaiārahi – Scouts Aotearoa couldn’t function without the vital support of people willing to lend their time and their talents to youth development through the Scouts programme.
St Augustines Scouts – like any Scout group – needs people to keep the group going. Our leaders are mostly parents who dedicate some of their time to making the group work while their own children progress through Scouts. That means, for all but the most dedicated, our leaders will move on when their own children leave Scouts.
We need people who want to learn and share. Scouts Aotearoa provides training for Kaiārahi and you’ll join a team of people who want you to succeed and enjoy your time with St Augustines.
Talk to the leaders, read more about volunteering on the Scouts Aotearoa website and get involved. It’s fun, rewarding, and you’ll become a part of keeping a group with a great history going for the future.
